Meet Ava

Ava Yung is a graduate-level therapist on the LMFT track. She believes that healing begins with safety and that growth happens best when people feel seen, supported, and at ease in the therapy space.

Her approach is warm, inviting, and inclusive, offering a comforting presence grounded in curiosity, insight, and compassion. She understands healing through both an emotional and body-based lens, believing that trauma is often stored in the body and needs to be gently worked through. By paying attention to both the mind and the nervous system, she helps clients move toward greater balance and regulation.

She values mindfulness and self-reflection, and brings a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. As a therapist who prioritizes self-care and personal therapy in her own life, she understands the challenges of carrying stress, pain, and responsibility—especially for those who care deeply for others.

She believes healing is an active and courageous choice. Her hope is to support clients in reconnecting with their inner strength, cultivating a sense of peace, and moving forward with greater clarity and resilience. It would be an honor for her to walk alongside clients on their healing journey.
